‘The Earth trying to give birth!’
In light of the terrible tragedy in Haiti, we must remember that the earth is under a curse from sin. In the beginning, it was peaceful, beautiful, and God walked on it, but sin has come to destroy it. The Bible is very plain about the events of earth.
Sin will reign till Jesus returns and ushers in the ‘Kingdom of Peace and glory’. It is very interesting when Jesus talked about the end of the age, he specially mentioned the increase in earthquakes. The Scriputes also tells us the Earth is in ‘birthing pain’ for a New Age to dawn.
The earthquakes are a sign of the soon coming of Son of Man in all His glory! Like a mother about to give birth, the earth is in termoil as the new age dawns in front of us!
So, we can expect the number and intensity of these to grow. Natural disastors scream out the climax of man’s rule on earth and sitting-up of Golden Age of Christ!
